They are part of Bull Development, which was founded by Winfield Willis Sr. over 30 years ago. The company has over $130 million of development projects in their pipeline.Listen in as Nigel and Win discuss the opportunities that Baltimore has to offer, including a high average income, top medical schools, and a thriving real estate market. Despite its bad rap in the media for crime, they explain that Baltimore's crime rates are actually concentrated in a small portion of the city, leaving plenty of room for growth and development.Nigel and Winfield also share how they have used their shared history and relationships to create a lasting impact on their neighborhoods. They share their strategies for bringing real estate investment opportunities to their community and the importance of taking risks and pushing out of their comfort zones to bring about positive change.Highlights1) A visionary-led, community-oriented development can only find success if the team goes out of their way to get to know the people they’re trying to serve. Building relationships for the long-term will help you discover what a community is missing, and in turn fill that need.2) Due your due diligence, because it’s not enough to blindly trust an investor no matter the company’s reputation, Bad habits can be formed by not taking the time to go through the data and understand the potential risks of an investment or project.3) With the endless amount of information available online, not to mention the rise of AI solutions like ChatGPT, investors are more informed and wish to be involved like never before. That’s why immersive development—getting to know members of the community at an intimate level—is more vital to success than ever before. How to find themWebsite -https://www.bulldevco.com/ Nigel’s Instagram - @nigelsydnorWin’s Instagram - @winwillisRead my Black Enterprise Article hereApply for my out of state investing coaching program here Shop our merch- https://blackrealestatedialogue.com/collections/allAccess all of our resources on our website- https://www.blackrealestatedialogue.com/linksAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Not long after getting his license, he navigated the tumultuous 2008 financial crisis. From there he eventually built his company, LA VIP Agent, that has set him apart in the real estate space.Rod shares how his experience selling luxury cars laid the foundation for building relationships with clients, starting over in the Southern California real estate market, and his journey to becoming a real estate advisor for athletes and entertainers. Highlights1) It’s always worth it to do what’s best for a client—to be their trusted resource or authority—and nurture the relationship rather than to chase a quick dollar. If you operate solely to get the sale, your business will be short-lived.2) Sales is all about asking the right questions in order to get clear on your customer’s needs and expectations, and in turn be able to advise them through the process of getting what they desire. You can never persuade someone to do something they’re not ready to do.3) Getting the Black dollar to circulate more widely in the real estate market can only happen if we get intentional about working with our own. Representation starts when you seek out professionals that look like you in the space. How to find himWebsite - www.lavipagent.comInstagram - @rodwatson23Read my Black Enterprise Article hereJoin the waitlist for my out of state investing coaching program here Shop our merch- https://blackrealestatedialogue.com/collections/allAccess all of our resources on our website- https://www.blackrealestatedialogue.com/linksAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy

Through the power of mentorship and networking, she was given opportunities that allowed her to make a significant impact in the affordable housing sector.Vanessa also discusses her current product pipeline, which includes six affordable homes, a one-acre tract with six townhomes, and an 18-acre and 43-acre development project under the mayor's 3000 home initiative.Highlights1) Having the right mentor can shorten your learning curve as a real estate developer. By leveraging the experience of a mentor, you can bypass common beginner mistakes and mitigate as much risk as possible as you build the foundations for your business.2) Partnering with your city can increase the profitability of an affordable housing project. Subsidies can significantly reduce land and construction costs, providing a powerful incentive for more developers to enter this space.3) Being underestimated can be a superpower. Know your strengths and weaknesses, focus on doing good work with good people, and let your product speak for itself. How to find herWebsite - www.colekleinbuilders.comInstagram - @thevanessacoleRead my Black Enterprise Article hereJoin the waitlist for my out of state investing coaching program here Shop our merch- https://blackrealestatedialogue.com/collections/allAccess all of our resources on our website- https://www.blackrealestatedialogue.com/linksAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brandsPrivacy & Opt-Out: https://redcircle.com/privacy
